Traditional Spanish Water Jug (Jarra de Agua), c. 1900–1930
Description
Spain — likely Catalonia or Valencia
Water wasn’t stored far away — it sat at the table.
This traditional Spanish jarra de agua was filled each morning and used throughout the day for serving water or wine. The glazed upper half made it easy to clean while the exposed clay kept the contents cool naturally.
A daily ritual, shaped into an object.
Very Good - in beautiful antique condition, with lots of patina, character and age... just the way we like it!
7 1/4" W x 6 1/2" H x 3 3/8"

Styling
This one is the easiest to integrate into a home. I would group it with other alike vessels in the same color story.
Think:
- kitchen counter
- dining table
- open shelving
- beside cookbooks
Because it was a serving vessel, it naturally reads as a flower holder without feeling forced — unlike the storage jars.
